Jean-Michel Jauly and Claudia Procula

Éveline Ribbecourt’s Fictional Story

9 June 2024

More of the same from the mythomaniacs of Rennes-le-Château. The same old story repeated again and again ad infinitum. Jean-Michel Jauly does not even know that the story of Claudia Procula is not part of the Christian Apocrypha but a pious religious short story called “La Mort du Juste” by Éveline Ribbecourt (pseudonym of Mathilde Bourdon, 1817-1888), published in Journal des Demoiselles, Nombre X, pages 296-302, Quatorzième Année, 3e Série, Octobre 1846.

It was Ribbecourt during the 19th century who introduced the often-repeated hokum about Claudia Procula, “Je ne te parlerai pas de mes premières années, passées à Narbonne”.

Here is La Mort du Juste. This information has been online since at least 2017.

People are being ripped off by the webmaster who wants your Euros to support his myths and fairy-stories. This website, that provides real information based on evidence and sources, is free.
