Meade Layne’s Circular to the members of his Borderland Sciences Research Foundation – dated the same day he received his letter from Gerald Light – who claimed that five types of aeroforms were under top-level inspection at Edwards Air Base – with the permission and help of the Etherians – and that President Eisenhower was going to take supreme control of the situation if the squabbling amongst the scientists and the authorities did not stop.

A rational and sober assessment would indicate that this was the creation of a 1950s conspiracy theory intended to buttress the validity of the existence of the Borderland Sciences Research Foundation.
